Seriously, Is there nothing the PS3 isn't good at? I just got the av system set up at the new place (I moved, BTW), and I was listening to some Ken Ishi on Spotify via the built-in app link on my Yamaha receiver and there were some odd artifacts in the deep bass... "oh well" I say to myself, "such is the compromise for streaming music..." and pull out the CD of "Jelly Tones" so I can listen to endless season the way its supposed to be... I'm using the PS3 as the cd player with digital out to the receiver's DAC, and as I'm about to play the CD I see the "Spotify" option under music, so I start the software download and play the song on the CD... mmmmm bass.... I go back and fire up the newly installed PS3 Spotify app and play the same song again...
I had to switch back and forth about 10 times and listen to different parts of the song to convince myself that I could tell a difference between the PS3 Spotify stream and the CD, and this after listening to the Yamaha Spotify app link and immediately noticing the failings. yup. the damn thing keeps being super awesome. PS3 forever, or something equally fan-boyish.
something something only does everything...

What's the fuss of making everything 'smart'? My bluray player has Netflix, and limited LAN streaming capability, (so does my TV, and I don't even use those features there), and it manages to scream at me with an annoying startup/shutdown tone every time I use it. I got more enjoyment out of my old TV than this new one, it wasn't 'Smart'.
